The hotel was fairly clean and the location was marvellous near the subway. Appreciated the room with cot bed, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. It was surely a really great stay for about 2 nights.

The location is central, close to the city center and metro. Rooms and bathrooms are clean with good air conditioning. Improvement could be made with a card key instead of a key. WiFi is not great. Cleaning service in neighboring rooms can be noisy.

The hotel is located in a quiet part of town in the Plaza de Espana but within a few metres of La Grand Via and within a 10 minute walk from the Palacio Real which is fantastic in the summer time. The people around are mostly Madrid´s residents with few tourists here so culturally it´s fantastic. The hotel is also exceptionally clean and perfect for a few days stay (any longer and the rooms may be a little too small). All the reception staff speak a number of languages so information is no problem.
The room could do with a small fridge in the room for cold water and to keep some purchases cold however that hardly consistutes a complaint.
